Bluebell Cottage is one of the oldest properties in Tideswell, dating back to the 18th century, and was once a pub. It’s in an unrivalled spot, nestling in a quiet side street at the heart of the village. The public footpath running past the main door leads to the magnificent Derbyshire countryside within just a few minutes' walk.
Bluebell has been restored and refurbished to a high standard. It's a bright spacious character cottage which is particularly suited to families or friends getting together s. It can be booked together with Butterfield Cottage, just a ten minute stroll away, to cater for groups of up to 15.
It is great for people who enjoy walking, historic houses and outdoor pursuits such as fishing and climbing. Being at the heart of the National Park it makes a perfect base for exploring the abundance of Peak District attractions.
The cosy sitting room has the original heavy oak beams and a Derbyshire stone fireplace with logburner. There are three comfy sofas and one transforms into a bed to sleep an extra guest. It has a 32 inch widescreen HD LCD TV with Full HD and freeview, DVD/CD player (updated since picture), and a library of books, puzzles and games help you feel at home and relax.
The large dining table can seat up to ten, and is right next to the kitchen so the chef for the day feels included in all that is going on.
