Writes Bryn Frank, publisher of The Good Holiday Cottage Guide, 'These lovingly-cared for and comfortably furnished, neat and tidy trio of cottages makes an exceptionally good base from which to explore the north, the east and even the west of Scotland'.
Ideally located near Inverness (capital of the Scottish Highlands) and near Nairn (with its superb beaches) - our three self-catering holiday cottages offer the perfect mix of comfort and tradition.
These traditional stone built cottages, with mostly ground floor rooms, are in the grounds of a working family farm on the Castle Stuart Estate. Situated in a peaceful rural location, all are well equipped and extremely well appointed.
Birch Cottage, sleeping 6, is a spacious three bedroom cottage, with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom downstairs, and a further double room upstairs. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a generous sized lounge, and separate dining area. The bathroom is fitted with a bath/electric shower.
The local area offers a wide range of activities to suit the sports-minded, tourer or walker alike. Look out for dolphins, badgers, buzzards, red squirrels, pine martens, foxes and roe deer. Visit Cawdor, Culloden, Fort George or Loch Ness for an unforgettable experience of the Scottish Highlands!
All cottages have TV, DVD and Wifi. Price includes fresh linen (duvets, sheets, pillowcases) and towels. The cottages are heated with total control electric storage/panel heaters. Electricity is extra and charged by units used during your stay. Baby/toddler equipment (high chair, cot, box of toys) available on request. Well behaved pets allowed by prior arrangement.
