Rhos Cottages are situated 4.5 miles inland from the 'castle crowned' town of Criccieth, with its two beaches divided by the headland, on which sits the 700 year old castle.
The four cottages at Rhos Cottages are all detached, traditional, stone built Welsh farmhouses and country properties; each enjoying its very own idyllic grounds with private secluded gardens (but not isolated), on our 200 acre of farmland which runs down to the River Dwyfach, where some double bank fishing can be done.
Betws Bach is an ancient, quaint cottage-style farmhouse, dating back to circa 1675, which has been expertly restored to maintain its two massive inglenooks, stone steps, original small windows, post and panel partitions, and original oak beams and trusses.
The accommodation includes 4 bedrooms sleeping 7 plus cot (and 1 additional folding bed, by request), a bathroom with shower over bath, and a separate shower room. Downstairs there is a sitting room with original inglenook fireplace (multi-fuel stove in use), a kitchen/dining room with oak-panelled units and a round table seating 7, and a snooker room cum family room. Outside there are two paved patio areas, with a built-in barbecue and picnic table, and ample safe parking area for 3 cars.
All cottages have a lockable shed for the safe storage of bikes or any other gear that you may wish to keep securely stored. All bed linen is provided and beds are made up ready for arrival. Heating and fuel all inclusive. Cots and high chairs available.
