Beer is the sort of place that, once discovered, people fall in love with and return year after year. It received a Best Kept Village Award in 2010
Beachcomber Cottage, built around 1900, nestles in a quiet, sunny spot with great views of the village. It's just four minutes' stroll to the beach and one minute from the main street, with its good range of local shops, pubs and eateries. The cottage offers superb accommodation for 6, is exceptionally well equipped, centrally heated and has a lovely sunny garden with a barbecue
The sitting room has lovely village views, and there are large, squashy sofas installed spring 2013 to sink into around the fireplace (with gas fire). The 32inch LCD TV and DVD/CD player, games, books and DVDs help to make our guests feel at home. The dining kitchen has an automatic washing machine, hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, ironing facilities and a fridge. The pine table and chairs seat 6, and a high chair is provided.
Upstairs, the bright and airy bathroom has a bath with shower over. The three pretty bedrooms are carpeted and well furnished, two are double and one is twin. A hairdryer and small TV are provided in the twin room.
The garden is private and has wonderful views over the village to the hills and gets the best from the sun right through the day from mid morning till it sets in the evening, making it the perfect venue for a BBQ and glass of wine after a day on the beach. The garden is hedged, fenced and gated so is secure for dogs. It has a patio area with garden furniture, and a lawn with planted borders.
