This Scandinavian style barn with woodburning stove and deck has a unique character and welcoming atmosphere. The rural situation has panoramic views of the Welsh Borders.
The Barn at Ryecroft sleeps up to 4, in 2 cosy bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second has a 4ft bed with a single sleeping platform above. There is a comfortable bathroom with WC, hand basin, bath and shower.
The sitting room and kitchen are open plan and furnished with a comfortable three piece suite and all the modern amenities you would expect, including TV and DVD player, washing machine, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and electric cooker.
Large glazed doors open onto the spacious deck area of the accommodation, with garden table and chairs and surrounded by mature trees - ideal for eating out, making the most of the amply stocked bookcase, or just listening to the birds. Recent visitors on a 3 night break recorded 20 different bird varieties! Occasional Roe deer have also been sighted in fields behind the Barn, as well as foxes, badgers, squirrels and rabbits galore. Some locals have also seen polecats and more recently kites.
For the colder winter months, the interior of The Barn is completely timbered, with triple glazed windows. The Barn has ample parking space and is all on one level for easy access. Prices are inclusive of towels, linen, electricity, and logs for the stove.
