Modern, Georgian-style, Baille Hill House is on a quiet riverside development, overlooking York's historic city walls. It has the advantage of its own parking for up to three cars - a rarity in the city centre. Local shops and restaurants are only a minute's walk away.
As well as a patio, this cottage also has a balcony equipped with furniture. The decor is modern and has leather sofas on which to sit and enjoy the flat screen TV.
Situated just outside the city walls and close to the river, and therefore well located for a river walk and the numerous attractions York has to offer. These attractions include the railway museum, York Minster and a dungeon telling stories of its gruesome history. There is also the theatre and museums to visit, as well as the Shambles with its parade of small shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
There is plenty of walking to be had along the length of the city wall or along either of the two rivers that pass through the centre of York.
