These three neat whitewashed cottages are situated on the leafy banks of the River Coe and surrounded by our own 50 acres of natural woodlands in the heart of this most picturesque of Highland glens. We have in addition to a one mile stretch of the river, two pretty little trout lochs, which together with the diversity of trees and flora, attract a wide range of wildlife encouraged by our ecofriendly management of the place.
The area is famous both historically and for the wide range of outdoor activities. Each of the detached cottages sleeps 6-8 in three bedrooms, has an open plan living room/kitchen with large patio doors overlooking the river. The cottages are designed to give families, hillwalkers and climbers, warm comfortable accommodation.
To add to the ongoing appeal of Glen Coe Cottages (featured for 20 years in
The Good Holiday Cottage Guide and for five on its website), there's now a
'Harry Potter Connection'. Much of the filming of the third Harry Potter
book is taking place at Torren, where the cottages are located, and on the
nearby loch that is in the same ownership as the cottages.
