Seven miles from the small fishing village of Tarbert, the secluded farm estate has a walled Victorian garden, an oak wood preserve for wildlife and pebble beach, and offers guests use of a rowing boat in summer. Golf, fishing and walking are readily available; there are coves and sandy beaches to explore, islands to visit and a choice of local pubs and restaurants.
The Gate Lodge and White Cottage each sleep 4 and have a wood burning stove or open fire and a private garden. Cost: £180 - £400. Long weekends off season from £150. Achaglachgach House - a Scots Baronial mansion - is available for larger parties up to 14. Details on request. Dogs by arrangement.
