Alvie & Dalraddy are traditional Highland Estates, four miles south of Aviemore and near the village of Kincraig, the geographic centre of Scotland. The Estates extend into the Monadhliath Hills from the River Spey, famous for its fishing and whisky and overlook the Cairngorm Mountain range in the Cairngorms National Park.
Alvie & Dalraddy provide an ideal centre from which to explore Scotland, participate in one of the many activities available on the Estate and locally, search for your roots, find out how we make a living in rural Scotland or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the natural environment. Traditional cottages with superb views of the Cairngorms, situated in 13,000 acres of stunning highland scenery. The Alvie Estate stretches from the River Spey, over the Monadhliath Mountains to the Dulnain river.
Our self catered accommodation, sleeping from 4 to 10 guests, can be combined with a wide variety of sporting and other activities which include clay pigeon shooting, archery, quad bike treks, horse riding, stag feeding, loch and river fishing, hill walking, shooting, estate tours, zip wire, gorge walking and bush craft survival. Within easy reach are various water sports, mountain biking, activity parks, the Cairngorm Mountain ski area with its funicular railway, and for golfers, take your pick from a number of different styles of courses around the area.
